Monday, April 11 and it is our last day in Nice. We took a tram and then a bus to go to Eze Village, up in the hills. It’s really cool there, but considering we waited so long for buses to get there and back I’m not sure that it was worth the time involved.

After waiting for a very long time for the bus to take us back to Nice we went to the Roman ruins near the Matisse Museum. After we spent a little time there we went to the park next to it and watched the old guys play péntanque, aka boules. I like to watch it played and most of them were pretty clever. They had magnets that picked up their balls to they didn’t have to bend down. Lol!

We then returned to the apartment to get things together for our departure early tomorrow morning. We had a last visit and walk on the beach before and then after dinner. We have enjoyed our time here very much.
